General Information

Please keep in mind that's your own risk to flash a fully working card. I take no responsibility for any damage to hard- and/or software.

DumpBIOS 64k

DumpBIOS 64k is the tool to recover your actual BIOS flashed on the card. Before flashing a new one or simply for my help you can dump it.

Short instructions:

  • Extract the ZIP-file
  • Execute the executable file (Use Windows XP or below)
  • A file named BIOS.BIN will be saved beside the executable file
  • Rename the file, so you can identify the BIOS if you need it again

If you want to support me:

  • Capture some information about the card
    • Name of the card
    • AGP? PCI? SGRAM? SDRAM?
    • Revision printed on the PCB
    • GPU/RAM-clocks
  • If possible generate a hash for the BIOS-file
  • Send an E-Mail with the BIOS and as much information you can find to the address you find here

Identify the card

If you are not 100% sure what card you just installed in your system or do you have a supposed defective card, it is possible to get some information.
So you can inventory the card or maybe get a chance to repair it by simply reflash the BIOS.

Here are some tools to check your graphic card.
